History: Justin was born on May 6, 1980 to Terry and Rebecca, two middle-class muggles. He was their first child and his parents jokingly referred to him as the "experimental" child as they simply had little knowledge on how to care for such a small life form. Although his parents were overwhelmed with his presence, it didn't take long for another child to follow and his younger brother Carl soon joined the brood. Even as an infant and a toddler, Justin made little fuss. He was aware that his mother's hands were more than full and he did his best to keep his younger siblings in check. Justin enjoyed Carl's presence. It was as if he was his own personal playmate. He treated him as if he was just another one of his toys, forcing him to participate in games of war and to always play seek him out whenever they played hide and seek. To Justin's joy, his parents added two more children to their family, Nathan and Laurie

Initially Justin was thrilled. He lovingly bossed around his younger siblings and kept a watchful eye on them whenever his mother was busy with housework or his father was piled under mounds of paperwork. Justin often acted as a second father to his siblings because their father was often out of town on business, caring for them and scolding them whenever they did something that was wrong. As they got older, Justin began to feel left out as his three younger siblings seemed to forge a bond. It was obvious that Justin was different. At the time no one could quite explain it, but Justin wasn't like the rest of his family. He became disinterested in playing the older brother to them as they certainly hadn't seemed very interested in him and what he liked to do. Instead of playing with his siblings, he busied himself with reading or helping his mother around the house. He'd always had a wild imagination and Justin loved to sit by the window and pretend he was some sort of explorer, often scribbling down notes and drawings in the journal he kept. Although Justin loved his brother to pieces, when he was five years old, he inadvertently pushed him into a lake during a family camping trip. Justin hadn't touched him. It had happened so fast that no one besides Justin knew that he wasn't the one that had actually shoved his brother. He hadn't wanted him in the lake of course, but their petty argument had angered Justin and before he knew it Carl was in the lake. Their relationship never seemed to be the same after that and even to this day Justin still feels guilty about that day at the lake.

When Justin was eleven years old, he received an unusual letter. His parents had held onto it for a few days, debating whether or not they should allow their son to see it and to decide for themselves whether or not this "magic school" really existed. Eventually Justin was told the truth when he received a visit from an ambassador of the wizarding world. He too, like Justin, had been a muggleborn and he explained to Justin's parents about Hogwarts, magic, and the like. His parents agreed to send Justin as they couldn't ignore that there was something special about Justin, something they couldn't ignore. His parents had been all set to send him to Eton, a public school in London, and Justin was more than relieved to be going elsewhere.

Once he arrived at Hogwarts, Justin experienced a happiness he never knew existed. He felt like he belonged there. Finally there were people who were similiar to Justin and could understand him. Justin no longer felt like the odd man out. He was sorted into Hufflepuff where he thrived. Justin easily made friends and was well liked by his classmates. Early on he hung around Ernie Macmillan and Hannah Abbott, friends he cherished throughout his entire seven years at school. During his second year of schooling, Justin had been attacked by a basilisk because he was a muggleborn. It was after that experience that he learned that not everyone in the wizarding world accepted him because his parents were muggles. Naturally he was upset, but was determined to not let that bring him down. He was just as skilled as the other children in his year, whether or not they came from pureblood families or muggles, and he knew it truly didn't matter. He only wished others would accept it.

Justin was an active member of Dumbledore's Army where he learned valuable skills that were not taught in a classroom. Although he did suspect Harry of trying to set a snake on him in his second year, Justin came to respect Harry and looked up to him, as many other students had come to do as well. His training in the DA helped him immensely. He became more confident and in control of his magical capabilities. When the war with Voldemort began, Justin had been unclear of what to do. Being a muggleborn, he knew he couldn't go back to Hogwarts as he would surely be a target but he was afraid to be at home with his family. He refused to let them be targets or get in harm's way just because he happened to be different. Instead Justin made the decision to report to Azkaban for "stealing magic", a law enforced by Muggleborn Registration Commission. The time he spent in Azkaban was a defining moment in his life. Justin realized that something needed to be done to protect muggleborns on a more permanent level. It was there he began to come up with the idea for Wizards for Muggles, a plan that would essentially dilute pureblood lines.

The true goal of Wizards for Muggles is hidden behind a charity organization, a support group or sorts for muggleborns and halfbloods who are pro-muggle and wish to defend both them and themselves. Plan Equal arose because Justin knew there was more to be done. His anger for being treated different because he's a muggleborn fueled it more than anythig and Justin is doing anything he can to help WFM grow.
